    Trio Form
Upcoming CoroCoro's cover issue was leaked early, revealing exciting pictures of alternate forms for Tornadus, Thundurus and Landorus.

In the alternate form, Tornadus appears to have broad wings, feather-like decorations with horns becoming similar to feathers, and possibly bird-like feet. Meanwhile, Thundurus' hands have become paws encompassed by clouds with sharp claws, protruding horn appears larger on forehead, and head structure resembling a dog or dragon snout. Finally, Landorus' appearance is mostly obscured, causing deciphering features very difficult, however, Landorus' three horns have lengthened.

We have a slight correction to make. In article that recapped Nintendo Direct from April, we mistakenly identified Ho-Oh to be in this screenshot of AR Searcher, pictured below. We now know that the Pokémon in this screenshot is a member of the Tornadus, Thundurus and Landorus trio. Several physical features lead to this conclusion. First, the neck of Ho-Oh isn't short and stubby such as the trio Pokémon. Ho-Oh should have a tail, but that feature is absent from the Pokémon shown in this picture. The third unexpected feature is the bumps on the wings. Ho-Oh does not have these bumps, but the trio does (see above). The last odd feature of our mystery Pokémon, is the appendages on each side of the face. These appendages do not....

On May 20th, Nintendo of America will released a Midnight Purple 3DS. Japan recently received a similar release. On April 19th in Japan, the Cobalt Blue 3DS was released in a bundle with the Fire Emblem game. The Japanese console was the same color as the Midnight Purple 3DS to be released in the USA, however the Japanese console had an engraving for Fire Emblem game that it was bundled with. Needless to say, the USA console will not receive this engraving since it is not bundled with any games. Midnight Purple will be sold for $170 just like the other 3DS colors in the USA; Aqua Blue, Pearl Pink, Flame Red, and Cosmo Black.

The official Pokémon site has announced a Darkrai distribution to promote the new Darkrai EX card to be released in the TCG expansion Black & White-Dark explorers. This will be very similar to the Mewtwo distribution commemorating Mewtwo EX. This Darkrai will be distributed on the internet over the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection to English Black & White games. No specific details have been announced, but the site gave us a vague hint: "This elusive Darkrai comes equipped with a set of powerful attacks and a nightmarish Ability!"

We'll have more information on May 9th, when the official site is updated.
